新聞中心Explosion-proof electrical products are widely used in petroleum, chemical, coal, textile, food processing and military industries where explosive gas, vapor, dust or fibers may gather together. The quality, especially the explosion-proof safety quality has a close relationship to the safety in production, so that in many countries and regions, these products can be used in dangerous areas only when explosion-proof certifications are gained. The above mentioned authentication system is very necessary to ensure the safe use of explosion-proof electrical products. However, on the other hand, it causes a lot of obstacles in international trade on the explosion-proof electrical products.
In order to eliminate unnecessary repeated international test and approval of explosion-proof electrical products, and to promote the international trade, IEC Scheme for Certification to Standards for Electrical Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres was founded in May, 1996, with its short name IECEx SCHEME (IECEx system). PCEC undertakes the supervision and random inspection of explosion-proof electrical products, test of national production permit, international IECEx and European ATEX explosion-proof electrical products.
